आषाढ़ गुप्त नवरात्रि आरंभ (Ashadha Gupt Navratri Begins) आषाढ़ मास में आने वाला एक पर्व है। इसकी तिथि ग्रेगोरियन कैलेंडर से नहीं, पंचांग की तिथि से तय होती है, इसलिए हर वर्ष अंग्रेज़ी तारीख बदलती है और पंचांग से ही निकाली जाती है। इस दिन परंपरा में व्रत रखा जाता है।

हर वर्ष यह पर्व आषाढ़ मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की Pratipada तिथि को मनाया जाता है। चंद्र तिथि और ग्रेगोरियन कैलेंडर के अंतर के कारण अंग्रेज़ी तारीख़ हर वर्ष बदलती है।

इस पर्व के बारे में

आषाढ़ मास की गुप्त नवरात्रि का प्रथम दिन — बिना सार्वजनिक उत्सव के घटस्थापना कर दस महाविद्याओं की मौन मंत्र-साधना के नौ रात्रियों का आरंभ।

The first day of the monsoon 'secret' Navratri of Ashadha — a Ghatasthapana kept without public festivity, devoted to the Das Mahavidyas and silent mantra sadhana through nine rain- washed nights.

महत्व

One of the two gupt (hidden) Navratris, observed not with pandals and garba but with private sadhana — the reason tantra traditions prize it above the public Navratris for mantra siddhi. The Das Mahavidyas, from Kali to Kamala, are invoked in sequence; householders typically keep a simpler Durga vrat with the Saptashati path. Falling as the monsoon breaks and Chaturmas begins, it is treated as a window for inner course-correction: sadhana done quietly now is said to bear fruit through the waterlogged, inward months that follow.

पूजा विधि (कैसे मनाएँ)

Perform Ghatasthapana in the morning muhurat as in any Navratri — kalash on sown barley in the north-east — but keep the observance private and simple. Worship the Devi morning and evening with a ghee diya, flowers, and sattvik bhog; practitioners take up one Mahavidya mantra or the Saptashati as the fortnight's anushthan with a fixed daily japa count. Maintain phalahar or single-meal vrat, silence where possible during sadhana hours, and close on navami with havan and kanya pujan done quietly at home.
