How Ishvaram Calculates Every Vedic Fact
Every date, time, and position on Ishvaram is computed, not guessed. Your kundali, Panchang, muhurat, dosha, and Kundli Matching scores are calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris — the same arc-second astronomical engine used in professional astronomy — applied with the Lahiri Ayanamsa, the sidereal standard of Vedic astrology. Sunrise, sunset, Tithi, Nakshatra, Rahu Kaal, and choghadiya are computed for your exact location and timezone, and cross-checked against authoritative Panchang references so the figures match what a careful Panchang shows.
Interpretation is anchored to the classical texts — Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and Phaladeepika — not to an AI's memory. The rules that decide what a graha, dosha, or Dasha period means come from those shastras; the engine supplies the exact positions they are read against.
How the AI Jyotishi Works — and What It Never Does
Ishvaram's AI Jyotishi reads your computed chart and explains it in plain language. It is honest about what it is: an AI trained across the Vedic traditions, never a human pretending to be a pandit, and never a fabricated name, lineage, or photo.
The dividing line is strict and deliberate — the engine computes every fact, and the AI only frames and interprets it. The AI never invents a date, a planetary position, a dosha reading, or a muhurat time; those always come from the calculation. That is why a reading holds up when you check it against any accurate Panchang, and why two Ishvaram sessions from the same birth details always agree — while a chatbot that guesses positions from memory can hand two people two different charts.

Who runs Ishvaram
Ishvaram was founded in 2025 and is run by Digesh Nanda, who builds the tools and is responsible for what the site publishes. Every kundali, Panchang, muhurat, and dosha figure comes from the calculation engine. The explanations around those figures are AI-drafted and checked against rules rather than written or read page by page by a person, as the editorial policy explains. The interpretive rules behind them are reviewed by the astrologer named below.
Reviewed by an experienced astrologer
Ishvaram's interpretive rule system, and samples of what it produces, are reviewed for traditional accuracy by Pandit Kuldeep Shastri, a practising Vedic astrologer with over 26 years of experience in Karnal, Haryana. The engine computes the facts, the AI Jyotishi explains them, and an experienced human astrologer reviews the rules they follow; he does not review each page or reading.
