About This Eclipse
Total solar eclipse (maximum 15:37 IST). Totality crosses North Africa from Morocco to Egypt and continues over Saudi Arabia. From India a partial eclipse is visible in the late afternoon, deepest in the west and south: about a third of the Sun's disc is covered at Mumbai and Chennai, and less than a tenth at Delhi and Kolkata.
