It asks a daily question: is the current local minute inside a named auspicious muhurta or a favorable Choghadiya window, and is any stronger avoid period active at the same time? The displayed times come from the engine response for the selected city; the page does not substitute a fixed weekday chart when that response is unavailable.
Named windows serve different jobs. Brahma Muhurta is traditionally used for prayer, meditation and study before sunrise. Abhijit Muhurta is a dependable daytime option for many ordinary beginnings. Vijaya Muhurta is associated with purposeful action, while Godhuli Muhurta belongs to the transition around sunset. Favorable Choghadiya periods add practical choices when a named window does not fit your schedule.
A green verdict is useful for routine starts, but it is not a universal guarantee. Marriage, Griha Pravesh, naming ceremonies and major financial commitments have purpose-specific rules and may require both charts, family constraints and a final Pandit review. What if a good Choghadiya overlaps Rahu Kaal?
The live verdict treats Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda or Gulika Kaal as an avoid override. If one of those periods is active, it advises waiting even when a favorable Choghadiya also overlaps. For a major ceremony, use a purpose-specific muhurat and personal chart review rather than a general daily window alone.
