Festival of knowledge and spring — worship of Goddess Saraswati

महत्व

Marks the arrival of spring. Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati — the deity of knowledge, music, and arts. Yellow is the colour of the day representing mustard fields in bloom.

पूजा विधि (कैसे मनाएँ)

Wear yellow clothes. Place books, instruments, and tools before Saraswati idol. Offer yellow flowers and sweets. Children begin learning (Akshar Abhyas) on this day.
