At midday, the muhurat of Ram's birth, perform abhishek of the infant Ram (Ram Lalla), offer tulsi leaves, panjiri, and kheer, and sing the birth bhajans. Read the Ram Raksha Stotra or a chapter of the Ramcharitmanas. Conclude with aarti; many families end the vrat after the midday puja, others at sunset.
