Krittika, the third nakshatra, spans from 26 degrees 40 minutes of Aries to 10 degrees of Taurus, making it one of the nakshatras that bridges two rashis. Ruled by the Sun (Surya) and presided over by Agni, the fire god, Krittika represents purifying fire — the flame that burns away impurities to reveal truth.
